MICHIGAN STATE LOBBY DAY

State Lobby Day is an annual event that's held in Lansing at the State Capitol.  The day was hosted by the MDA with students from both the University of Michigan and the University of Detroit Mercy.  Throughout the day, students meet with legislators from all over the state in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.  Legislators listen to students speak about issues pertinent to dentistry and to dental students.  It is a great day to learn more about how important the legislative process is to protect dentistry.  We always aim for even more participation in the future!
